Deadpool

Curator's note

Created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, first appearing as a hired killer in The New Mutants #98 (1991). Wade Wilson, a former special-forces soldier whose cancer treatment under the black-ops Weapon X program left him scarred but nearly unkillable, with a healing factor that rivals Wolverine's. He remains Marvel's rare fourth-wall-breaking antihero, fully aware he exists inside a comic book. Iron Studios sculpts him in his signature red-and-black suit, katanas drawn.
