O Fantasma Deluxe - Defensores da Terra

Curator's note

The Phantom, created by Lee Falk with artist Ray Moore, debuting in the newspaper strip on February 17, 1936, generally credited as the first costumed hero in comics, ahead of Superman and Batman alike. The title and purple costume pass father to son down a line of Ghost Who Walks, sworn over a pirate's skull to war on piracy from the jungles of Bangalla. Iron Studios' Deluxe statue, tied to the Defenders of the Earth cartoon, places him beside his wolf Devil with twin .45s drawn and the Skull ring on his hand.
