Tempestade - X-Men 97

Curator's note

Ororo Munroe, created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum, first appearing in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (1975). Orphaned as a child when a plane crashed into her family's Cairo home, she was buried in the rubble for days, an event that left her with lasting claustrophobia even after growing into one of the X-Men's most powerful mutants. Alison Sealy-Smith, who voiced her in the 1990s series, reprises the role in X-Men '97 (2024); this Iron Studios Art Scale 1/10 statue is drawn from that revival.
