Poison Ivy - DC Comics by Ivan Reis

Curator's note

Pamela Isley, created by Robert Kanigher and Sheldon Moldoff with artist Carmine Infantino, first appearing in Batman #181 (1966). A botanist remade by exposure to toxins and the mystical force known as the Green, she commands plant life and delivers a kiss lethal enough to end most confrontations before they start. This piece follows Ivan Reis's concept art for Iron Studios' fifth DC Comics Art Scale series, Poison Ivy rendered in bloom amid overtaking foliage.
