Fera - X-men

Curator's note

Hank McCoy, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, debuting in X-Men #1 (1963), conceived from the start as a contrast: ape-like strength and oversized hands paired with the most articulate, well-read voice on the team. Later mutations layered on blue fur and feline features without touching the genius-level intellect underneath. Iron Studios' X-Men '97 Art Scale figure captures him in that later form, voiced in the 2024 series by George Buza, who first played him on the 1990s show.
