Spiral - Marvel Comics

Curator's note

Spiral, created by Ann Nocenti and Arthur Adams, first appearing in Longshot #1 (1985). Once a human stunt performer named Rita Wayford, she was captured by the media tyrant Mojo and rebuilt into a six-armed sorceress-cyborg, two of her limbs mechanical, wielding blades and teleportation magic. Longtime enforcer for Mojo and the Marauders, she has drifted toward antihero status in recent decades, even serving as Longshot's own agent.
