Logan

Curator's note

Wolverine, created by Len Wein, John Romita Sr. and Herb Trimpe, first appearing in The Incredible Hulk #180 (1974). This piece draws from James Mangold's Logan (2017), Hugh Jackman's final turn in the role, in which an aging, ailing Wolverine shepherds a failing Charles Xavier and a young mutant, Laura, across a dying American West. Iron Studios sculpts him weathered and worn rather than in his prime, true to the film's elegiac tone.
